Our special locks keep stove knobs locked in the off position. They install underneath the knob and prevent it from twisting or turning. When you're ready to cook, simply slide out the lock. Great for gas grills,too

Tips from pediatricians • Many stove knobs simply pull straight off leaving the stem behind.  Pulling the knobs off in this manner (and placing them out of reach of your child) can be an effective strategy to deter your child from being able to turn the stove knobs.  The disadvantage to this strategy is that it leaves the stems sitting out uncovered and taller children might then be able bump their heads against them.
